I am Yasuhiro
Maruyama.
Founder & CEO of Edo Partners K.K. I built this practice because I saw a gap: expat executives in Tokyo deserved an advisor who understood both sides of the transaction — and who would put their interests first, unconditionally.
Why I do this.
"I spent my career analyzing real estate from the institutional side — structuring financing, managing hotel portfolios, underwriting acquisitions. I understood what properties were really worth, and how transactions were really structured. What I kept seeing was that individual buyers and renters — even senior executives — were navigating this market without that knowledge. They were at a disadvantage, and nobody was evening the odds. That's why I founded Edo Partners."
Edo Partners is an independent, boutique real estate advisory firm based in Tokyo. We specialize in the intersection of institutional-grade analysis and personal, client-first service — a combination that simply doesn't exist in the general brokerage market.
My clients are typically senior professionals relocating to Tokyo, expat executives at foreign companies, and international investors seeking a trusted local counterpart. What they have in common is a need for genuine expertise and someone they can trust to tell them the truth.
